Position Overview

Co‑op/Internship – Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) & Specialized Sales Force (SSF)

Term & Work Hours

Work Term: Fall/Term 1 – September 8 – December 18, 2026 (4 months)

Hours: Monday‑Friday, standard business hours

Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pay: $45,700 – $74,400 CAD per year (subject to experience, location, and internal factors)

Responsibilities

- Act as a bridge between frontline sales activity and enterprise risk, governance, and control expectations.
- Partner with sales leaders and governance teams to identify conduct/sales practice risks, respond to monitoring and audit findings, and ensure controls align with TD’s regulatory framework and risk appetite.
- Maintain and update risk and regulatory control inventories for SSF activities, clearly articulating control purpose and oversight requirements.
- Use enterprise data and analytics to identify trends, investigate issues, and elevate risks that could impact customers, colleagues, or shareholders.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on sales practices, conduct risk,



and frontline impacts within specialized mortgage and lending sales environments.
- Support audit readiness and remediation efforts, including evidence collection and action plans to secure successful ("Green") testing outcomes for the SSF channel.
- Champion conduct and sales‑practice governance, shaping solutions that promote appropriate sales behaviours and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce, or a related field.
- Intent to return to school after the work term.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience or coursework in data analysis, risk management, or regulatory compliance is a plus.
