Job Description

Roofmart – Canada’s national distributor of roofing, siding, and building envelope products – is hiring an experienced warehouse and logistics professional to load, unload, ship, and receive roofing materials at both the store and rooftops. This full‑time role requires physical strength, height‑working safety knowledge, and occasional forklift operation.

Responsibilities

- Safely load bundles of shingles and related products onto rooftops and onto delivery trucks.
- Collaborate closely with drivers to ensure efficient and safe product delivery.
- Handle materials manually and with suitable equipment, lifting up to 80–100 lbs repeatedly.
- Load, unload, move, ship, and receive product and inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper tagging.
- Maintain clean and organized work environment in the store and yard.
- Strictly follow all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

- Physical strength and stamina; ability to work at heights.




- Fall protection/working‑at‑height training – an asset (training can be provided).
- Valid forklift license – an asset (training can be provided).
- Ability to lift, push, and carry 80‑100 lbs repeatedly.
- Robust customer‑service skills.
- Preferred experience in warehouse operations and forklift use.
- Knowledge of the roofing industry – an asset.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
