Lead nursing operations as a Site Leader, overseeing patient care coordination and staff management during non-standard hours. Join a vital project aimed at enhancing hospital capacities and services.
In this pivotal role, you'll guide direct patient/resident care at regional hospitals after hours and on weekends. Your leadership will direct Patient Care Coordinators and Charge Nurses while assessing care efficiency, staffing needs, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Critical thinking and decision-making will be essential to address patient care issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee patient care delivery during off-hours
• Direct staff and manage patient/resident placements
• Collaborate with medical teams to resolve care issues
• Ensure secure staffing levels and resource allocation
• Investigate staff conflicts and promote resolution
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Nursing required
• 5 years acute care experience; 2 in a supervisory role
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage conflict and facilitate learning
