Lead outdoor education and day camp initiatives as a Director. Oversee program planning, development, and staff training, ensuring high-quality, safe experiences for participants year-round.
This leadership position focuses on supervising outdoor programs and managing a team in the Greater Sudbury area, while also supporting related activities in North Bay and beyond. You will assess and modernize educational offerings, manage supplies, create seasonal camp schedules, and ensure operations align with organizational values. Key responsibilities include training staff and volunteers, financial budgeting, and communication with participants and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic development of outdoor education programs
• Assess and enhance current offerings for modernization
• Ensure safe and age-appropriate camp operations
• Manage procurement and inventory of program supplies
• Plan summer camp programs during off-season
Requirements:
• College diploma or University degree in related field
• Minimum of 2 years in a senior camp role
• Strong knowledge of outdoor education operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications
