The Director will spearhead the tax function, reporting directly to the CFO. Your responsibilities will encompass managing compliance activities, overseeing tax return preparation, and ensuring adherence to both local and international tax laws. A collaborative approach and strong communication will be essential as you lead a team and support various business units with tax-related queries and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage tax compliance across all global jurisdictions • Oversee preparation of all direct and indirect tax returns • Lead interactions with tax authorities for audits • Ensure timely tax filings and payment of corporate tax • Identify and assess key tax risks and exposures
Requirements: • Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting; CPA preferred • 8-10 years of relevant experience • Cross-border tax experience is essential • Strong Canadian tax knowledge with ASPE familiarity • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
