Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Work Location: Onsite (Milton, ON)

Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000

What You'll Be Doing:

Plan, schedule,



and optimize maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of production and facility equipment, including building services (ammonia, refrigeration, HVAC, chillers).

Manage work order and PM systems (planned/unplanned), track completion, and maintain audit readiness (BRC, CFIA, GMP, calibration), continuously improving maintenance processes.

Oversee inventory and procurement, including stockroom management, parts ordering, PO creation, cost control, and accurate record keeping of materials, tools, and equipment.

Develop work instructions, training matrices, and maintenance procedures to support optimal performance.

Support budgeting, cost optimization, and identification of continuous improvement and capital projects.

Collaborate with Production Planning and cross-functional teams to align schedules, improve efficiency, and ensure safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

Monitor, report, and improve maintenance KPIs; adjust schedules and methods based on equipment and resource capacity.

Manage contractor processes including onboarding, WSIB compliance, permits (e.g., hot work), and adherence to GMP, BRC, and health & safety requirements.

Communicate effectively with teams, contractors,



and stakeholders; promote a positive work environment and compliance with company policies and standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of Food Manufacturing experience (Frozen Bakery experience is an asset).

3+ years of Maintenance Planning experience.

Technical degree from College or University.

Experience with ERP Systems / CMMS (D365 is a robust asset).

Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, basic data analysis).

Safety training as required (lift devices, fall arrest etc.).

Knowledge of industry developments related to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

BRC/SQF or similar knowledge of quality programs. HACCP, GMP, OSHA and prestart reviews.

Continuous Improvement Mindset and Knowledge of Lean principles and Standard Work methodologies is an asset.

Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Effective communication and presentation skills.Ability to follow and execute instructions in various formats.

Practical decision-making in structured, fast-paced environments.

Ability to interpret technical documents and regulatory requirements.

Solid numerical and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Lean Six Sigma Certification

Experience in food, CPG, foodservice, or manufacturing environments.
