Take the lead as a Senior Hull Outfitting Designer focused on delivering top-notch interior outfitting design on recent ship construction and repair projects, fully on-site in North Vancouver. Engage in all project phases including 3D modeling, design execution, and engineering support.

In this senior role, you will mentor less experienced designers while managing technical requirements and quality standards for outfitting designs. Your expertise in CAD modeling and design development will drive successful project execution, ensuring timely delivery of schedules. This position emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders like production, engineering, and planning.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide leadership in technical requirements and standards • Review and support the development of design proposals • Mentor junior designers in 3D modeling techniques • Manage project schedules in collaboration with planning • Coordinate with stakeholders for design integration

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering discipline • 5+ years in shipbuilding, directly impacting production • Proficient in AutoCAD and documentation systems • Knowledge of marine outfitting systems and standards • Familiarity with classification society requirements
