The position requires an on-site presence at the project offices located on the site of a major project in Quebec City. The project is being carried out in partnership. Define and lead the commercial strategy in alignment with the project and partnership objectives to ensure the successful delivery of the project; Oversee contract management, including change management, claims, and legal matters with the client, suppliers, and subcontractors; Manage procurement, subcontracts, and relationships with subcontractors and suppliers; Optimize, develop, and implement commercial and contractual management policies, processes, and tools; Provide commercial and contractual advice and report to management and project teams; Ensure commercial alignment among design, construction, and project management teams; Establish and enforce contractual governance, including decision‐making processes; Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations,



as well as project deadlines; Maintain trusted relationships with the client and stakeholders, manage expectations, and protect the partnership’s interests; Actively participate in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks; Lead and develop the commercial team, including legal resources. Requirements

University degree in engineering, finance, law, or another relevant discipline; Minimum of 20 years of professional experience related to the role, particularly in commercial management, contract management, and project management on major projects, including collaborative infrastructure delivery models such as CC, CCP, CCF, PPP, IPD, GMP, or alliance‑based projects; Experience working in a partnership environment; Experience working with engineering consulting firms; Proven experience developing and implementing contract management strategies and managing risks and opportunities; Excellent proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken. The use of English is required to collaborate with English‑speaking partners; Solid understanding of cost control, including project cash flow curves, and planning within a contractual management context; Strong understanding of contractual and commercial functions on major projects; In‑depth knowledge of construction contracts and change management; Strong understanding of financial considerations; Knowledge of the Quebec public construction market; Ability to liaise with and coordinate legal advisors and internal and external experts; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,



integrated ERP systems, and other commercial tracking tools. Skills and attitudes required

Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills; Strong analytical and synthesis abilities; Excellent ability to structure files and implement the necessary processes and tools to achieve objectives; Strong aptitude for long‑term strategic planning; Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment with tight deadlines; Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; Demonstrates initiative, rigor, and integrity; Ability to integrate into a team environment and actively promote teamwork; Ability to unite and mobilize teams; Ability to build strong relationships with executive management and project teams.
