These positions can be based in Ottawa or Halifax. This team is advancing Canada’s aerospace capabilities by developing software solutions that support mission‑critical functions. These systems contribute directly to improving operational effectiveness, situational awareness, and decision‑making capabilities.Specific responsibilities will vary depending on the level of the position, but may include:Performing software requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and integrationWriting and reviewing software design documentation, test plans, and proceduresDeveloping high‑quality, maintainable code while adhering to project and coding standardsParticipating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiativesTroubleshooting and resolving software issues, including root cause analysis and verification of fixesCollaborating with cross‑functional teams to support system design, integration, and validationProviding technical support to internal stakeholders throughout the development lifecyclePresenting technical content at design reviews and team meetingsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical/scientific disciplineMinimum 5 years of experience, preferred 10+ yearsRelevant experience with software development projectsProficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Java, C/C++, Ada)Experience with Agile software development,

Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada.Additional Information The hiring range for this position is $90,000-$140,000.
