Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory
- Model, structure and document data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, data warehouses)
- Automate the processing, transformation, and integration of data from multiple sources (internal and external)
- Ensure data quality, security and governance (monitoring, data lineage, compliance)
- Collaborate with BI, data science, DevOps, and business teams to meet analytical and operational needs
- Develop advanced dashboards (Power BI, DAX) and automated reporting solutions
- Participate in technology monitoring and propose innovative solutions adapted to the company's challenges




- Actively contribute to Norbec's digital transformation strategy by playing a key role in the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into business processes and data solutions
- Document technical processes and train internal users as needed

Job Requirements

Key Competencies

- Proven experience in developing ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX (asset)
- Experience with Spark, Databricks, Data Lake, Lakehouse
- Knowledge of data security, governance and monitoring principles
- Experience in automation, CI/CD, Git
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with technical and business profiles
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning (experience with Azure ML, Fabric AI, or Python is an asset)
- Bilingualism French/English (oral and written)
