CPQ Lead Solution Engineer – Salesforce / Conga CPQ / PROS We are looking for a seasoned technical leader to drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Salesforce‑based CPQ solutions across Conga and PROS platforms for Thomson Reuters.
Responsibilities
Drive the engineering strategy, planning, design, and implementation of Conga CPQ, Conga Turbo Price, Conga Digital Commerce, and PROS pricing solutions.
Provide technical leadership through best‑practice definition, quality standard enforcement, code reviews, and mentoring to achieve high performance.
Lead technical research, prototyping, and solution evaluation to recommend optimal tools and architectures while staying current with Salesforce and Conga updates.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, architects, and third parties to deliver integrated solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and scalability.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation and deployment.
Prepare solution development estimates and technical plans, identifying dependencies and risks.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles designing, developing, and integrating Conga (CPQ, Turbo Price, Digital Commerce) and/or PROS with Salesforce.
Strong knowledge of Conga product configuration, pricing, workflow approval processes, and AI‑assisted optimization.
Deep technical understanding of product modeling, pricing, quotation, contract lifecycle, and data migration, including CPQ approvals and discounts.
Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and integration tools such as Dell Boomi, Apigee, and Informatica, with exposure to integrating AI services and APIs.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
A good grasp of technical and quality standards, best practices, and guidelines.
Knowledge of product trials, subscriptions, and commerce is a plus, especially with AI‑driven personalization and recommendation engines.
