What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Perform complex fraud investigations using various data to assess transactions

Provide leadership support by addressing complex cases and finding resolutions

Collaborate with internal teams to suggest and deliver on project work

Minimize fraudulent activities by identifying risk exposure and fraud trends

Regularly suggest improvements to processes, workflows, and policies

What is Required (Qualifications)

4+ years of experience in merchant fraud underwriting/adjudicating in a payments or fintech environment

Solid credit risk experience with the ability to identify high-risk businesses

Thorough understanding of best practices for preventing service-related chargebacks

Experience in fraud and/or compliance risk,



particularly in monitoring accounts and transactions

Proficient in using rule-based fraud detection tools and managing relationships with small business owners

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in improving policies and operations in a fast-paced environment

Ability to document complex problems effectively and communicate solutions

Resourceful with a strong grasp of the big picture in decision-making

Excellent communication skills, including tact and empathy under pressure

Experience working independently and collaboratively with teams
