The Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group, led by the CIO, focuses on delivering robust digital experiences. Within DTS, the Digital Platform Delivery & Architecture (DPDA) group provides scalable digital platforms. The Digital Business Platforms group seeks a skilled Platform Automation Developer to support EDC’s automation agenda across UiPath, ServiceNow CSM, Power Platform, and Azure. Responsibilities
Automation & Workflow Development
Design, build,
test and maintain automation solutions using UiPath and ServiceNow CSM Develop workflows and integrations with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Workflow Data Fabric Implement secure, scalable integrations using APIs, events and Azure services Integrate AI into digital platforms Level 17: Deliver user stories end‑to‑end with peer review Level 18: Lead design, propose reusable patterns and guide technical direction Delivery & Quality
Participate in design reviews and implement approved technical designs Follow coding, documentation and testing standards for production quality Contribute to automated and regression testing, defect resolution Support CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Git Level 17: Implement CI/CD steps and adhere to branching patterns Level 18: Enhance pipelines, strengthen release readiness and testing practices Platform Operations & Support
Monitor execution, logs, and performance metrics Maintain reusable libraries and components Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and deploy fixes Support upgrades and platform changes with minimal disruption Level 17: Resolve standard incidents using established patterns Level 18: Lead complex root‑cause analysis and improve resilience Collaboration & Enablement
Translate requirements into deliverable solutions with stakeholders Guide citizen developers to follow platform standards and best practices Share knowledge through Communities of Practice Collaborate with vendors and internal teams during delivery Level 17:
Support citizen developers and provide enablement documentation Level 18: Mentor developers and elevate engineering quality across the community Qualifications
Post‑secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 5+ years (L17) or 7+ years (L18) of technical delivery experience in automation and workflow solutions across enterprise platforms Strong experience with UiPath and ServiceNow CSM Proficiency with Flow Designer, Integration Hub or similar orchestration tools Solid knowledge of Azure services for integration and automation Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git source control Analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex systems Experience in regulated or large‑scale enterprise environments Desired Extras
Experience with ServiceNow Automation Centre and Workflow Data Fabric Exposure to financial services, banking or insurance sectors Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) Supporting or mentoring citizen developers Understanding of automation architecture, governance and release management Knowledge of AI‑enabled automation or agentic AI concepts Bilingual in English and French Eligibility
