Raji Al-Kurdi Pharmacien Inc . The successful candidate will be hired by Raji Al-Kurdi Pharmacien Inc.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a qualified accounting technician to assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable and coordinating payment processing. The incumbent will also play a role in financial tracking, data analysis, staff management, and administrative support.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here) Accounts Receivable:

Communication & collaboration with HO

Perform reconciliation as needed.

Send invoices to customers (patients, clinics, etc.)

Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager or accounting team

Payments processing:

Process Interac and supplier payments.

Match amounts to patient accounts; use Excel for data lookup.

Record check payments in Excel, deposit, and log in Xero.

Enter credit card payments AR system.





Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager or accounting team

Accounts Payable:

Record invoices in the accounting system (Xero) and make payments due.

Manage the bank account based on financial needs.

Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager or accounting team

Validate purchase orders against invoices.

Process and record EFT payments in accounting system (Xero)

Track returned checks with Scotia Bank.

Deposit checks and apply them in Accounting system (Xero).

Request and track copayments from programs.

Track AR aging and do follow-ups

Work with the finance team to improve processes

Create and interact with Excel and PowerBI reports

Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager or accounting team

Administrative Tasks:

Time off management (payroll, vacation, etc.)

Manage HR issues: Hiring, resignations, RRSP setup, Insurance enrollment, etc.

Handle registration and management of collective benefits and contributions.

Generate reports for the accounting team.

Validate expenses of liaison officers and delivery drivers

Purchase office supplies.

Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

Completion of an accounting, bookkeeping or business diploma or related work experience

2 years of financial and/or accounting experience

1 year of Human Resources and/or administration support experience - strong asset





Excellent verbal and written communication skills - English and French required

High level of technology capability – Microsoft Office suite of application and accounting software

Proven ability to work effectively with confidential and sensitive information is essential

Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities
