Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance as a skilled Payroll Administrator. Play a key role in processing payroll and supporting employee inquiries within a dedicated and patient-focused setting.
In this permanent position, you will be responsible for maintaining the payroll system while ensuring strict compliance with government regulations. You will support new hires, terminations, and various employee changes in the HRIS. Your attention to detail will be critical in checking and coding payroll data accurately according to company policies and union agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify, audit, and enter payroll information
• Respond to payroll inquiries from staff
• Process employee changes in HRIS
• Prepare reports on earnings and deductions
• Handle year-end transactions like T4s
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in accounting preferred
• CPA Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner required
• 2–5 years related payroll experience
• Advanced Excel and HRIS skills
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
