This temporary position in the Learning and Information Technologies department offers valuable experience during a summer role. You'll work closely with IT Support and Computer Technicians to handle equipment and aid in the efficient operation of technology services. Additionally, this role includes duties such as connecting devices, inventory management, and responsible disposal of equipment.
Key Responsibilities: • Connect and disconnect computers and phones • Re-image labs and laptops effectively • Support asset and inventory management processes • Count and report on equipment discrepancies • Organize the Learning and Information Technologies storage area
Requirements: • Minimum Grade 12 education required • Enrollment in post-secondary IT related field preferred • Knowledge of computer systems and operations • Strong communication and detail-oriented skills • Valid Manitoba Driver’s License needed
