The Role in a Nutshell

Base Salary: CAD $68,000.00 - 85,000.00 We are looking for a QA Software Tester I with 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance, mobile application testing and automation. In this role, you will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities

Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications. Test mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms. Log and track defects in Jira, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. Create and execute test plans and cases, ensuring software meets quality standards. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA team members to understand application features and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Cypress, Postman, and JavaScript. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team. Who We're Looking For

1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on mobile and web applications. Robust skills in Appium, Cypress, and JavaScript for automation testing. Experience with manual testing (functional, regression, UI) on web and mobile applications. Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured. Experience with version control systems such as GitHub. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies.



Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and TestRail (or similar tools) for test case management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice to Have Qualifications

Experience using or knowledge of AI models that can be utilized for automating tests. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably in Azure DevOps). Few More Details
