Become an essential part of mental health care as a Psychiatric Worker. This role provides therapeutic support and assessment for clients, ensuring their safety and well-being within a care-centered model.
Working under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, you will help create and implement client care plans in a short-stay psychiatric unit. Your responsibilities include conducting observation rounds, handling client behavior documentation, and transporting clients safely. Participate in educational initiatives while attending ward meetings to enhance treatment approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and revising client care plans
• Conduct observation rounds for client safety
• Record and communicate client behaviors
• Administer CPR according to established protocols
• Provide personal care as needed under nursing guidance
Requirements:
• Degree in Behavioural Science and one year of experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform CPR and physical duties
• Proficient organizational skills
• Experience operating related equipment
Contribute to client stabilization and therapeutic care in a supportive workplace, focusing on mental health needs.
