As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and operation of electrical distribution projects. This role includes leading a technical team, developing construction work plans, and coordinating with multiple departments. Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations is a critical aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed plans for system design and upgrades
• Manage budgets and project timelines effectively
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards
• Provide mentoring and leadership to engineering staff
• Act as a liaison for stakeholder coordination and support
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
• At least 5 years in the electric utility sector
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Current North Carolina Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Knowledgeable in GIS, SCADA, and OMS systems
