Membership Administrator – Full-time – 18-month contract

The Arbutus Club has been a landmark in Vancouver since 1964. Today, we are a modern recreation complex with first class food and beverage services. The Arbutus Club is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Membership Administrator to join the Membership department. This role is responsible for supporting member services by responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate membership records, and assisting with membership administration and tours. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional service to members and guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Respond to member inquiries regarding their accounts in a timely and professional manner




- Research and navigate member account transactions and prepare statements upon request
- Draft and send correspondence to members in both email and letter format
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records within the membership system
- Process membership updates and adjustments as required
- Provide administrative support to the Membership Director with projects and tasks as needed
- Lead membership tours for prospective members and guests
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for members and visitors interacting with the Membership department
- Assist with coordinating committee meetings, including utilizing governance tools to organize agendas, minutes, and follow‑up items
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless member experiences and support cross‑departmental initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum three (3) years of experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
- Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field considered an asset
