Drive employee engagement and HR expertise as an Onboarding and Engagement Partner. Manage full cycle onboarding, retention, off-boarding, and support management with vital HR functions.
This role entails providing local HR expertise in a District, ensuring compliance with HR policies and legislation, including the Employment Standards Act. You will facilitate training and presentations, guiding staff on HR principles and practices. Required experience includes a solid foundation in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee full cycle employee onboarding and off-boarding
• Support management with HR training initiatives
• Abide by HR policies and collective agreements
• Assist with performance management and employee relations
• Facilitate presentations on HR policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum two years in a human resources role
• Solid knowledge of HR functions and legislation
• Experience in health care preferred
• Competent in recruitment, training, and development
• Familiarity with compensation and benefits management
