Maintenance Mechanic – Full Time

Locations: Mississauga & Woodbridge

Kelly Services is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to hire skilled Maintenance Mechanics across multiple facilities in Mississauga, Concord, and Woodbridge. About the Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll provide mechanical support across processing, packaging, and facility operations. You’ll troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and work closely with production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the plant.

Shift & Pay

- Rotating continental shifts (either 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am or 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am, depending on location)
- Pay rate: $38.75–$43.25 per hour, based on experience
- Shift premiums: +$1.00/hr for night shifts & +$2.00/hr for weekend shifts

What You’ll Be Doing

- Repair, install, modify, and maintain machinery and equipment in processing and packaging
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective, timely solutions
- Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and major equipment overhauls
- Operate machine shop tools (drill press, grinder, saws, etc.)
- Support equipment setup, takedown, and relocation
- Assist production with equipment setup and troubleshooting during shifts
- Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and toolbox
- Complete electronic shift reports and work orders using CMMS (SAP)
- Order and track parts, support inventory management, and participate in cycle counts




- Participate in shift handovers, H&S; meetings, and company training
- Follow all GMP, Health & Safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Work flexibly across required shift patterns and locations as needed

What You Bring

- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs
- Mechanical training or equivalent hands‑on experience
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to adapt, collaborate, and problem‑solve in a fast‑paced workplace
