Office Operations Coordinator

Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate all aspects of the office, client, and employee experience from coordinating training sessions, to automating procedures to supporting the onboarding process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate technical support for all employees by troubleshooting basic issues, updating policies, managing software accounts, setting up workstations and ordering equipment
- Establish a positive office experience by liaising with vendors, for items such as stocking our kitchen with snacks and beverages, ordering supplies, managing internal phone system, and providing back-up support for the Reception Team
- Act as a Joint Health and Safety Committee Member to coordinate wellness initiatives such as fire training programs
- Assist with professional development activities such as administering mandatory training, researching learning programs and facilitating training sessions
- Liaise with project committees to ensure continuous improvement of operations by mapping processes, creating project charters, and recommending solutions

- Support HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, maintaining employee files and staff events.
- Execute all other additional duties, responsibilities and special projects as required.

Position Requirements:

- Relevant work experience in operations, HR, and project management, supporting a wide range of functions including office coordination, process improvements and administration
- Post-secondary education in a related field such as Business Administration, Human Resources or Office Administration (an equivalent combination of work experience and education may be considered)
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office and computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Zoom and Adobe

Reporting Structure:

Office & HR Manager

This is full time, permanent position, based fully on-site.

Job Type: Full-time in Office

Salary: $52,000 - $57,000 depending on experience.
