We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and related functions for all employees. You will work closely with various departments, supporting both managers and hourly staff, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Administer weekly payroll for a high volume of hourly and contract employees using Avionté Bold .
- Reconcile payroll registers with the VMS and client internal systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies and prepare required manual entries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, ROEs, and payroll adjustments.
- Respond promptly and effectively to employee inquiries related to payroll,
providing explicit and comprehensive support.
- Prepare, review, and analyze standard and complex payroll reports in alignment with client specifications and requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll data and strong multitasking skills.
- Experience with Avionté Bold and SimpleVMS is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of accounting software.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Please Note: Experience with Avionté Bold and SimpleVMS systems is required for this role. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
