The ideal candidate for the Vice President, Rental & Used Equipment role is a strategic commercial leader with proven experience driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence in equipment sales and rental businesses. They possess strong business acumen and a track record of developing and executing market‐aligned strategies to expand rental and used equipment operations across multiple regions. Skilled in optimizing fleet utilization, shaping integrated sales and aftersales policies, and enhancing customer satisfaction, this leader ensures sustainable business performance. With a team-oriented and hands‐on leadership style, they inspire high‐performing teams, foster OEM and partner relationships, and embed digitalization and continuous improvement into the business. This individual combines financial discipline, strategic foresight, and a customer‐centric mindset to advance Nors' market position and achieve long‐term success.While this role may be based anywhere in Canada, significant travel will be expected based on the nature of the position.Position DescriptionThe Vice President, Rentals & Used Equipment is responsible for defining policies and ensuring the commercial operations are in alignment with Nors' strategy, Business Unit goals and OEMs' standards, with the objective of developing the Rental and Used Equipment sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Key AccountabilitiesRental and Used Equipment LeadershipDevelop and execute the rental and used equipment strategy aligned with market trends and company goals.Develop the 'Nors Rental' sub‐brand which the company has created,



building‐up its spreading and specific strategies to leverage the Rental business growth and profitability.Contribute to, define and establish the proper aftersales policy regarding rental fleet in coordination with CEO and VP Aftersales.Build strategic relationships with OEMs, suppliers, partners, and key customers, negotiating programmes, warranties, and commercial agreements that strengthen Nors' positioning.Coordinate cross‐functional collaboration with corporate functions to implement group policies and initiatives, and report consolidated commercial and operational performance, risks, and opportunities to the Head of BU and Executive Board.Commercial and Market DevelopmentIdentify new business opportunities, partnerships and expansion areas across Canada.Oversee end‐to‐end commercial performance to secure productivity, market share, customer satisfaction, and profitability, as well as inventory utilization and fleet optimization.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote rental and used equipment offerings.Operational ExcellenceDefine integrated policies, standards, and operating models for sales, competitiveness, and sustainable growth across regions and sites.Oversee fleet acquisition, utilization, maintenance,



and disposal strategies to maximize ROI.Ensure resources, capacity, facilities, and inventory are planned and compliant with operational, safety, environmental, and OEM standards to assure continuity of service and customer experience.Drive digitalisation and continuous improvement across sales and operations (e.G., CRM/CPQ, KPI dashboards, workflow automation) to enhance traceability, decision‐making, and operational efficiency.Define, plan and control the objectives, activities and resources of the area, monitoring any deviations and developing policies, in order to contribute to the achievement of Nors' strategy and objectives.Ensure compliance with internal rules and standards, as well as with applicable legislation and regulations in force (both national and international, if applicable).Manage the teams and employees under responsibility, monitoring performance indicators and ensuring the necessary support for the achievement of objectives and individual development, in order to contribute to the performance and development of the area.Manage the combined commercial and operational P&L, monitoring revenues, costs, margins, and KPIs, and implementing corrective actions to achieve financial and strategic targets.Establish performance management and quality assurance frameworks for sales and service processes (e.G., pipeline discipline, pricing and margin governance, turnaround times, first‐time fix, parts availability) to safeguard excellence and results.Critical SkillsBusiness AcumenBusiness Development & Client Relationship Management#J-18808-Ljbffr
