Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000

Supply Chain Business Analyst - IPR Events
Position Overview The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day activities of the IPR Events team and delivering on the team’s projects and initiatives that will benefit The Home Depot. Inventory, Planning, & Replenishment (IPR) is part of Home Depot Canada’s supply chain. The Business Analyst has the responsibility to advise and assist in execution of department level forecasting and replenishment strategies for both core and non‑core products ensuring consistent and accurate execution by the forecast and replenishment analysts.
The Business Analyst will focus on supporting with instock troubleshooting and inventory recovery for, Events, and Offshelf. The Business Analyst will also be expected to deliver analytics and provide direction to support business objectives that will be used for making data‑driven decisions. The successful Business Analyst needs to be a team player and have solid communication and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
Workday and Workforce Management
Use problem‑solving and analytical skills to determine root causes and action plans for Event, Offshelf and Flyer instock issues.
Experience with financial analysis and quantitative skills, including ability to produce and review sales analysis (turns, sales, gross margin, etc.) and other analytical techniques to assist in making key forecast and replenishment decisions.
Support with the development and refinement of processes and best practices related to Offshelf and Events.
Collaborate with cross‑functional supply chain teams to resolve problems.
Perform ad‑hoc analysis that will be used for making business decisions.
Project Management
Perform complex analytics and deliver sound recommendations based on sound Supply Chain principles.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommended changes.
Consult on IT‑driven projects to ensure final deliverables support strategic initiatives.
Partnering
Provide key reporting and tactical support to IPR, Merchandising, Logistics and Senior Management and track Key Performance Indicators on a weekly and monthly basis.
Collaborate with the Merchandising Team to ensure appropriate load‑in strategy for Events and to respond to promotional risks.
Coordinate the activities of analysts in their functional area to support large Events.

Minimum Education Must have a post‑secondary degree in a relevant field.
Minimum Years of Work Experience
Must fulfill minimum time‑in‑position (2 years)
2-3 years of analytical experience in a retail environment with emphasis on forecasting, replenishment, process improvement and data analysis.
Minimum Leadership Experience
Flexible in attitude and approach to business solutions
Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality
Strong customer focus with business acumen, problem solving skills and results orientated.

Other Requirements/Assets
Self‑starter, efficient, organized and able to produce high quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion.
Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and/or Big Query, strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
Ability to drive alignment across different stakeholder groups
Strong analytical skills with the ability to extrapolate pertinent information from various sources (reports and spreadsheets) and analyze data for recommendations.
Project management skills are an asset but not required.
