Job Purpose
To own and manage the commercial relationship for assigned accounts by negotiating contract terms, pricing structures, and service agreements. The role is responsible for forecasting customer intake, communicating expected volumes to internal stakeholders, and coordinating internal alignment on changes to commercial terms, contract amendments, and customer commitments to support efficient and profitable execution.
Principal Accountabilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial discussions or issue resolution, ensuring client commitments align with company strategy and risk appetite
- Proactively address and resolve issues arising during sale execution or contract performance by liaising with clients and internal departments to drive timely resolution.
- Liaise with clients and the Trading department to support effective execution of sales transactions.
- Forecast expected intake volumes and communicate projections to Operations/Treasury to support planning
- Develops and maintains the company's information on the relevant markets.
- Performs other assigned tasks.
Scope/Dimensions
- The incumbent will work closely with the Sales team, Operations, and the Client Specialist Group as well as interacting regularly with clients.
- This position enforces the Company’s anti-money laundering policy and gold procurement policy to ensure protection of company’s assets and employees. The position provides information and in consultation with the Global Head of Sales to make decisions.
- Be aware of and follow the plant’s environmental policy and environmental management system.
- Participate in environmental training meetings as scheduled.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience
- 4-5 years of Management experience
- 2-3 years of refinery experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Spanish is a benefit but not required.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Possess a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and numeracy skills; capable of creating and maintaining spreadsheets; performing calculations related to client metal and metal accounts; tracking and compiling data; and an ability to convert various units of measure accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Advanced skills in Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and keep excellent records.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate with a wide variety of people from all levels of the organization from front line employees to senior executive management.
