In this leadership role, you will implement a new program designed to prepare participants for careers in the culinary sector. You will manage operations, hire and support staff, and establish solid partnerships with employers and community stakeholders. The Manager is pivotal in building the program's foundation by ensuring participant safety and learning in a camp kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement day-to-day operations of the culinary program
• Hire and support program staff, including instructors
• Ensure compliance with funder requirements and performance targets
• Oversee recruitment strategies for participant intake
• Build strong relationships with employers and community partners
Requirements:
• 3–5 years experience in program management
• Background in workforce development or employment services
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Knowledge of culinary or hospitality sectors an asset
• Strong project management and leadership skills
