Info-Tech is expanding its Applied AI practice to help organizations move from AI ambition to real, working AI systems, starting with agentic AI design, rapid prototyping and extending into implementation and optimization.
This role combines hands‑on delivery, applied research, and client advisory. You will lead Agentic AI Design & Prototyping workshops, working directly with member organizations to design end‑to‑end agentic workflows, build functional AI prototypes, and facilitate collaborative build sessions and hackathons. You will also develop new AI research and advise members as they scale and implement AI systems.
Over time, this role will expand into larger AI engagements, deeper implementation work, and ongoing advisory as our AI offerings mature. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with practice and help shape its future direction.

What you will do, includes, but not limited to: Deliver Agentic AI Workshops & Prototyping Engagements
Lead Info-Tech’s Agentic AI Design & Prototyping workshops with member organizations
Guide participants through the full, end-to-end process:
Identifying high-value use cases
Designing agent roles, workflows, and orchestration patterns
Rapidly building and iterating functional AI agent prototypes
Facilitate hands‑on build sessions and hackathons that move teams from concept to demo‑ready solutions
Collaborate directly with member teams to co‑create and refine AI artifacts during live engagements
Capture workshop outputs and translate them into explicit, practical deliverables members can take forward
Build & Prototype AI Systems
Rapidly prototype AI agents, LLM workflows, and intelligent automations using modern AI stacks
Experiment with agent frameworks, orchestration approaches, evaluation techniques, and tooling
Troubleshoot, refine,
and evolve prototypes in real time with member teams
Contribute to internal agent development and experimentation to improve how Info-Tech uses AI in its own service delivery
Research & Thought Leadership (Applied and Practical)
Contribute to the development of practical AI resources, including:
Agent blueprints and design patterns
Workflow templates and prototype examples
Evaluation models and implementation guidance
Stay current on emerging AI and agentic development practices
Translate hands‑on experience and industry trends into usable research and frameworks for members
Advisory & Larger Engagements
Provide advisory support to members as they move from prototype to broader implementation
Help organizations make informed decisions about:
AI architecture and tooling
Agent deployment and scaling
Governance, risk, and operational considerations
Lead advisory calls with senior IT and digital leaders, translating complex AI concepts into practical guidance
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Internal Enablement
Partner with Research, Advisory, Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to support AI-related initiatives
Train peers on published AI research and emerging practices
Design and deliver high‑quality presentations, workshops, and internal learning sessions as needed
To be successful, you will need: Experience & Technical Depth
5–8 years of hands‑on technical experience, including 2–3+ years building, prototyping, or operationalizing AI/ML systems
Practical experience designing and developing AI agents, including orchestration, prompting strategies, tool use, and workflow integration
Experience working in or alongside ML Ops or AI delivery teams, with an understanding of how AI systems move from prototype to production.
Hands‑on experience with modern AI development tools and platforms, including:
Programming: Strong proficiency in
Python
and working knowledge of JavaScript
Agent & LLM frameworks: LangChain, PyTorch (or equivalent)
AI platforms & APIs: OpenAI SDK or similar foundation model tooling
Dev tools: Git, Docker
Cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure
Comfortable rapidly building and iterating AI prototypes.
Workshop, Facilitation & Advisory Skills
Experience facilitating hands‑on technical workshops, hackathons, or build sessions
Strong client‑facing presence, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior leaders
Track record of building trusted advisor relationships with managers and stakeholders; experience with executive audiences is a strong asset.
Education & Credentials
Undergraduate degree required; Computer Science or related technical degree preferred
Certifications in AI, ML, cloud platforms, or related disciplines are valued, but
practical experience is the priority.
Travel Requirement:
Must be flexible and have ability to travel to deliver workshops onsite at client locations both within and outside of North America.
Visa Requirement:
Must be eligible to obtain appropriate work Visa for cross‑border work within North America and globally.
Work Hours Requirements:
Must be available for after‑hours work periodically to service APAC clients.
Language Skills Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish or German is preferred to support our diverse client base across North America and globally.
