Drive community engagement as a part-time Community Liaison Facilitator specializing in food security. Collaborate with the Executive Director to promote programs and diversify funding initiatives.
This role is designed for an individual passionate about community building and environmental health. You will work on outreach initiatives designed to raise awareness about the organization's programs and forge new partnerships. Your role will also include evaluating fundraising strategies and implementing effective sponsorship programs to enhance revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advance the society's visibility in local communities
• Grow existing partnerships and develop current ones
• Lead community presentations to promote key programs
• Assess effectiveness of fundraising options
• Research and assist with grant applications
Requirements:
• Degree in business, communications, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in community engagement
• Excellent marketing and communication skills
• Expertise in public outreach and grant writing
• Knowledge of South Delta community is a plus
