Description Are you ready to join an innovative and cutting-edge technology project? This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Software Engineer to build and enhance advanced software systems (RESTful APIs) used in manufacturing environments. This role involves full-cycle development of scalable applications supporting contemporary industry initiatives, including real-time systems and machine learning-driven solutions. You will work within a fresh microservices architecture, deploying solutions across both on-premise and cloud platforms (AWS), while collaborating closely with production teams to deliver high-impact outcomes. This position offers a competitive hourly rate with high potential for contract extension.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable applications and microservices.

Build and integrate real-time and machine learning-based systems.

Support production systems through troubleshooting and maintenance.





Translate production and user requirements into technical solutions.

Contribute to system testing, performance tuning, and reliability.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

Experience with computer vision and machine learning (e.g., object detection, OCR, image classification) in production environments.

Minimum eight years of full SDLC experience, focused on REST APIs and microservice architecture.

6+ years of hands-on experience developing backend components using .NET or Spring Boot, as well as frontend components using Angular or React.

Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).

Familiarity with Linux environments and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Exposure to messaging systems, caching, or event-driven architectures.

Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.

Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical problem-solving skills.
