Principal – Temporary Full time (1.0 FTE)

Start Date: July 1, 2026

End Date: June 30, 2027 or the return of the employee being replaced, whichever occurs first

Living Sky is seeking a temporary full-time Principal to join our leadership team. Principals play a critical role in shaping school culture, supporting staff, and ensuring strong learning experiences for students. Leaders in Living Sky are catalysts for growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Luseland District School is a rural, dynamic school that brings together surrounding communities. We are a student-centered school with a strong focus on building citizens. We are seeking an innovative, committed, and collaborative individual who believes they can lead their team to meet the needs of all students in an environment where all feel accepted, cared for, and safe. The Role As Principal, you will provide instructional and organizational leadership while fostering a school environment grounded in belonging, well-being, integrity, and innovation. You will work closely with staff, students, families, and the broader community to support student success and promote a positive, inclusive school culture.

Qualifications

Eligible for or in possession of a valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate

Master's Degree in Educational Administration considered an asset

Experience in Indigenous education and/or community-based leadership considered an asset

Strengthen the educational community through collaboration
