We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our team at Morgan Stanley, offering the opportunity to tackle some of the firm’s most complex technical challenges. This role places you at the forefront of adopting the latest platforms, tools, and techniques while working closely with multiple teams across the enterprise. You will design and implement next-generation libraries, tools, and components to support up-to-date architectures, define best practices for application development, and contribute to open-source projects. This position is ideal for a technology enthusiast with strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of .NET development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement next-generation libraries, tools, and components to support modern architectures.
- Provide direction and define best practices for designing modern applications for all developers within the firm.
- Collaborate with application teams to identify and adopt optimal solutions for specific use cases.
- Provide technical solutions for integrating new techniques and libraries with existing deployments.
- Increase engagement in open-source projects critical to the firm's infrastructure.




- Explore and answer “how,” “why,” and “what if” questions to understand technical systems deeply.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of solid .NET C# development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented design and threading concepts.
- 5+ years of server-side ASP.NET Core development experience.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical requirements verbally and in writing in English with other .NET developers.
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude for technology.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, multi-faceted environment where business and technical skills intersect.
- Natural curiosity to explore and understand system design trade-offs and underlying mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of .NET Core.
- Experience with Azure development.
- Understanding of low-level networking concepts.
- Advanced debugging skills.
