Procurement Director

Downtown Toronto, Ontario – Hybrid (3 days in the office)

$130,000 - $150,000 + benefits + 4 weeks vacation

We are recruiting for a Procurement Director for this fun, creative company in Toronto. The role includes leading a $75m spend, including IT, Software, AI, Facilities, Marketing and Equipment. Reporting to the VP Finance, you will be responsible for managing a small team and driving them forward towards a more strategic, consultative Procurement approach.

They are seeking a personable, consultative leader who can work with creative stakeholders, and help them navigate through the Procurement and Contract journey. You will be tasked with developing the procurement department, help implement new contract systems and develop sourcing and vendor management processes, including data analysis and SRM.





This is a small department, but there is a huge opportunity to grow and develop the role and take it to becoming a vital, strategic, value-added department for the company, adopting the best procurement strategies, processes and techniques.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

- 6+ years strategic indirect procurement experience
- Some leadership experience
- Broad Indirect Category experience, including Strong Software Procurement experience
- Impeccable communication skills – both verbal and written
