Teach Physical Cultural Studies as a Sessional Lecturer. Explore social dynamics within kinesiology, health, and education through an engaging course focused on diverse societal perspectives.
This role involves preparing and delivering course content while addressing key social issues related to ability, race, gender, and class. The lecturer will also develop assignments and evaluations while maintaining communication with students. Responsibilities include supervising teaching assistants and ensuring an inclusive classroom environment throughout the semester.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver university credit course content
• Develop and assess assignments and exams
• Hold regular office hours for student support
• Supervise teaching assistants when applicable
• Foster discussions on social issues in kinesiology
Requirements:
• PhD preferred in a relevant field
• Relevant expertise and teaching experience
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Ability to teach effectively in person
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Engage students in understanding cultural aspects of kinesiology while fostering an inclusive educational atmosphere.
