Drive fiber network designs as an Outside Plant Designer. Focus on engineering aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructures, ensuring compliance with safety standards in a hybrid workspace.
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs for fiber projects across Canada. Your role involves leveraging tools like AutoCAD and SpatialNET while collaborating with various stakeholders to address any project challenges. You will also perform system design, create BOMs, and ensure all designs align with current industry standards and regulations.

• Develop new civil telecom designs for diverse projects
• Incorporate safety measures and standards in network design
• Interpret fiber network designs and outside plant records
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot project issues
• Ensure compliance with scheduled deadlines and safety standards
Requirements:
• Technical college graduate in civil or telecommunications engineering
• Up to 3 years’ experience in telecommunications or related fields
• Experienced in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
• Robust communication skills to engage with project stakeholders
• Familiarity with telecom construction principles and methodologies
