Job Description The IT Support Analyst position interacts with all users of ION/TOMS including Front Office, Finance & Operations, Back Office, Treasury Credit, and Risk Management to develop and implement lasting, robust technology solutions as well as support existing applications and their surrounding framework. Responsibilities Supporting and delivering solutions to the firm’s Fixed Income Trading & Sales desks in North America. Managing applications that offer pricing, risk, electronic/algorithmic trading, and trade capture functionalities to the business. Providing 1st and 2nd line application support, engaging with stakeholders across Front & Middle Office, Product Control, Risk Management, Back Office, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams. Taking a hands‑on, proactive approach to enhance knowledge and skills. Developing ad‑hoc reporting tools for all business groups. Performing periodic on‑call support and shift work as required. Job Requirements Qualifications 5-7 years of experience supporting front-to-back Trading Systems and Trading Desks. Knowledge of ION Trading solutions and implementations. Experience supporting exchange connectivity (e.G., MarketView, ION MMI, ION Anvil). Comfortable assessing trading systems/components to investigate trade breaks, connectivity, and data issues. Understanding of financial markets and products,
specifically Fixed Income, interest rate products, and repo. Knowledge of electronic trading, market making, and algorithmic/automatic trading. Front Office facing support experience. Proven experience working with developers, business analysts, and systems support teams. Experience with scripting or programming languages. Working knowledge of Linux (RH), Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, and Python. Skills Category Computer skills Proficiency in scripting, SQL, and/or programming languages. Knowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodology, and ITIL. Strong analytical skills. Computer science or mathematics degree required.
