About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a critical eCommunications Surveillance program, with a planned focus on retail expansion. This role sits at the intersection of compliance, technology, and operations — responsible for surveillance system analysis, requirements gathering, and business process optimization across the eCommunications platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering and documentation for eCommunications surveillance system enhancements, including retail channel expansion initiatives
Conduct current‑state analysis of surveillance workflows and identify gaps and opportunities for process optimization
Partner with Compliance teams to design, refine, and implement lexicon‑based rules and monitoring scenarios aligned with regulatory obligations
Support model testing activities, including test case design, UAT coordination, and results documentation
Translate business and regulatory requirements into explicit functional specifications for technology teams
Produce high‑quality documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and test plans
Manage stakeholder communications across Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Risk
Required Qualifications
Business analysis experience within financial services, with direct exposure to eCommunications surveillance or communications monitoring programs
Experience with lexicon development, scenario design, or alert tuning within a surveillance platform
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing electronic communications monitoring
Experience coordinating UAT and model testing activities
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge compliance and technology, stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with retail brokerage channel expansion or branch surveillance programs
