This role seeks a highly skilled engineer to facilitate the integration of traction power for rail in major Canadian projects. With 3-5 years of relevant experience, you will work closely with design teams across disciplines like electrical and civil engineering. Your expertise will help in both technical development and project delivery while fostering relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to traction power systems for rail transit
• Review designs and validate installation plans
• Provide expert input for system design documentation
• Prepare conceptual designs for power systems
• Support project teams throughout project lifecycles
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years experience in traction power system design
• EIT designation or Professional Engineering license preferred
• Familiarity with Canadian railway standards
• Robust communication skills and systems engineering knowledge
