Automotive Service Technician
Job Details
- Location: 7797 Edmonds Street, Burnaby, BC V3N 1B9
- Work location: On site
- Salary: $36.18 per hour
- Terms of employment: Permanent, full time (40 hours per week)

Experience
2 years to less than 3 years
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Coach and instruct apprentices
- Provide customer service

- Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous‑owned businesses and organizations
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
- Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
