Property Vista is a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company building the future of AI‑driven property management. We have built a powerful, robust engine and are shifting to a high‑velocity, outcome‑based model where product success is measured by the hard ROI our platform delivers to our customers. About Us & The Opportunity We are looking for a Lead UX Designer to partner directly with our VP of Product and our CTO. Initially an Individual Contributor, you will serve as the sole design authority in the company and leverage AI to accelerate your work. The Product Triad Product (VP of Product): Owns the "What and Why" (commercial viability and hard ROI). UX (You): Owns the "Flow and Usability" (time‑to‑value and adoption). Tech (CTO & Engineering Leads): Owns the "How and When" (architecture and delivery). What You Will Do (Your Key Responsibilities) Relentlessly Interrogate the "Why": Guard against building features for the sake of features. Ask hard questions, push back on assumptions, and ensure every initiative is tied to our strategic goals. If the reason why the software was developed isn’t obvious to the user, the design isn’t done. Build the AI‑Powered Design Stack: Autonomously choose design software and AI‑native tools to create high‑fidelity mock‑ups and interactive models, continuously evaluating and integrating AI tools to accelerate the workflow. Solo Customer Testing & Synthesis: Put interactive models directly in front of customers, using AI to rapidly synthesize voice of customer feedback, generate realistic placeholder data, and iterate on the fly. Punch Above Your Weight Class: Leverage AI as a junior design team,
from rapid wireframing to prototype app generation, drastically reducing the time between concept and engineering handoff. Open the "Invisible Drawer": Audit and redesign the information architecture so powerful buried features are front and center. Design for the Economic Buyer: Lead the creation of executive dashboards, reporting modules, and value‑realization screens. Visually communicate ROI (leases signed, revenue gained, time saved) so the payer instantly sees our value. Radically Reduce Time‑to‑Value (TTV): Map and optimize onboarding and daily workflows for core personas (leasing agents, property managers). Remove friction and ensure new users hit their first "aha!" moment faster. Pristine Engineering Handoffs: Maintain a rigorous design system and deliver execution‑ready assets. Work alongside developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively and meet all design goals. What You Bring to the Table A Strong Backbone & Strategic Alignment: Reject passive order‑taking, push back on product and engineering when core objectives are unclear, and keep every screen tied to the company’s "why." AI‑Forward Mindset: Use AI to do the work of three people, being highly proficient with modern AI design and research assistants.
Solo Execution Capability: Operate as a high‑level IC and strategist without a large research or junior UI team. B2B SaaS Enterprise Experience: 5+ years designing complex, data‑heavy B2B software—a tool used 8+ hours a day. Systems Thinking: Design for user goals, components, states, and journeys, and scale a robust design system. A "Commercial" Design Lens: Understand how good UX drives net retention rate (NRR) and reduces support tickets. The UX Scorecard (How We Measure Your Success) Time‑to‑Value (TTV): Measurable reduction in clicks or time to complete core workflows. Feature Adoption Rate: Increase usage of underutilized modules through improved discoverability and flow. Support Ticket Deflection: Reduce UX/UI‑related "how‑to" tickets currently burdening operations. Design‑to‑Dev Velocity: Deliver functional code prototypes using AI coding assistants, boosting engineering velocity and reducing front‑end QA bugs. Here’s What You Need To Know About This Role Competitive base salary between USD 100,000 to 120,000 (equivalent) with performance‑based bonuses. Comprehensive benefits package. Full‑time, salaried position. Adaptable and remote work environment. Generous paid vacation time. Employee stock options. We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace. If you require accommodation during any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know and we will work with you to meet your needs in accordance with applicable laws.
