Contribute to a pivotal nuclear project as a Senior Steel Structural Engineer, focusing on advanced steel composite design. This role emphasizes compliance with nuclear safety standards and collaboration with diverse teams.
You will report to the Technical Manager and take charge of delivering complex design packages for the Nuclear Island at an important site. Your expertise will guide constructability assessments, minimize rework, and ensure alignment of designs with project specifications. Close interaction with construction and client teams will enhance project execution and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical input on steel composite structures • Lead constructability assessments to optimize construction • Prepare and review construction method statements • Address technical queries from site and client teams • Support implementation of quality procedures
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in civil engineering • Minimum 10 years’ experience in structural design • P.Eng designation is a plus • Solid knowledge of ASME codes • Excellent communication and leadership skills
