Senior Electrical Power Engineer - (191973) Responsibilities Lead and mentor engineering teams for power generation design projects, including natural gas and renewable energy generation projects. Prepare and review design studies, construction and equipment specifications, and balance‑of‑plant solutions. Write proposals, technical documentation, fee schedules, and work breakdown structures. Manage client relationships and lead marketing activities and briefings. Provide technical oversight and support in owner’s engineering roles. Travel for client and vendor meetings and on‑site visits as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis.
Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical power generation design.
Experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power generation.
Previous experience with an engineering consulting or EPC firm.
Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership skills; ability to work independently or lead multidisciplinary teams.
Extensive knowledge of three‑phase electrical power, protection and control design, grounding systems, and life‑safety systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
A minimum of 10 years of experience.
Professional engineering license recognized in the location of the position (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
Extensive experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard power‑sector design software (PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant3D, AutoPipe, Revit).
