Shape robust data governance strategies as a Data Governance Specialist in a hybrid work arrangement. Your expertise in data management and analysis will be pivotal to maintaining data quality.
In this role, you will report to the Manager IS Architecture and focus on implementing governance frameworks, standards, and processes. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective management of shared data resources, conduct quality assessments, and lead the training initiatives on governance best practices and tools across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain data governance standards
• Ensure accessibility and integrity of shared data
• Assess data quality for projects and programs




• Manage business glossary and metadata repositories
• Collaborate on data model design and development
Requirements:
• Degree in relevant field such as IT or Business
• 4-5 years of experience in data governance
• Familiarity with governance tools like Collibra
• Experience in data lakes and SQL databases
• Knowledge of AWS Kinesis or Kafka is a plus
Utilize your skills in data governance to promote quality assurance and enhance data management practices in a cooperative environment.
