As a Board Member, you will participate in regular meetings and contribute to the organization's growth and financial well-being. Your expertise in finance, legal, governance, and public relations is highly valued. You will collaborate with military family members and supporters of the community to fulfill the mission of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee the strategic plan
• Participate in monthly Board meetings and committees
• Approve budgets and monitor financial performance
• Ensure governance oversight and policy development
• Hire and evaluate the Executive Director
Requirements:
• Experience in finance, legal, governance, or HR
• Commitment of 10-15 hours per month
• Support for military families preferred
• Willingness to attend training sessions
• Open to diverse community representation
