Join a dedicated team as a Radiology Technologist II specializing in X-Ray. This role includes performing diagnostic procedures and ensuring equipment functionality in a dynamic workplace.
As a Radiology Technologist II, you'll report to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager and focus on patient-centered care in the OR and X-ray department. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting diagnostic equipment, assessing requisitions, and collaborating with Radiologists and Surgeons. Additionally, you will prepare patients for exams while diligently minimizing radiation exposure and maintaining sterile techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiological procedures for medical diagnosis
• Troubleshoot and ensure equipment functionality
• Coordinate with Radiologists and Surgeons in the OR
• Assess requisitions and select appropriate imaging techniques
• Maintain patient communication and comfort
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Radiology Technology program
• Current registration with NSCMIRTP
• Recent BLS certification or BLS Renewal Challenge Certificate
• Experience in pediatric imaging is an asset
• Strong decision-making and communication skills
