Recruitment Partner to join our team and own a book of business - managing client relationships and running searches for a portfolio of VC-backed startup clients on a contingency basis. What You’ll Be Doing Manage relationships with a portfolio of VC-backed startup clients, primarily founders and early hiring managers, serving as their trusted talent expert and go-to for all things hiring Run full-cycle sourcing for open roles: building pipelines, identifying candidates within Boardy’s network, LinkedIn, GitHub, and other channels, and driving outreach that gets responses Partner with Boardy on candidate engagement from first touch through client intro: keeping pipelines warm and searches moving Represent Boardy in every client interaction: setting expectations, communicating progress, and building trust Work closely with Boardy's AI platform to calibrate matches and surface the best candidates faster What We’re Looking For You’ve spent time on both sides:
inside a recruiting agency and on the ground at an early‑stage startup with at least 3+ years of experience You’re a solid communicator and relationship builder: clients and candidates alike enjoy working with you You’re motivated by results and comfortable in a commission‑driven environment You’re genuinely plugged into the startup ecosystem: you follow what’s being built and who’s backing it You’re a strong sourcer who can find and engage passive candidates, not just work inbound pipelines You thrive in a fast‑moving, early‑stage environment with a high degree of autonomy Why This Role You’ll work with some of the most exciting startups being built right now — getting to know their founders, their roadmaps, and what makes their teams special.
