Harrison Contracting Company (HCC) is growing, and we’re intentionally building a more structured, scalable recruiting function to support that growth. We’re looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a key role in centralizing our recruiting process, strengthening how we hire, and helping shape a consistent, professional candidate experience across the company.
This role reports directly to the Director of HR and will be instrumental in building HCC’s structured interview process, partnering closely with leaders to bring consistency, fairness, and clarity to hiring decisions as the organization scales.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles across the organization
- Help centralize and standardize recruiting practices, tools, and workflows company‑wide
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, priorities, and role requirements
- Build and maintain structured interview processes, including interview guides, scorecards, and selection standards
- Conduct resume reviews and initial phone screens in English and Spanish
- Coordinate interviews and support a fair, consistent, and well‑organized interview experience
- Support job offers and ensure a smooth handoff to onboarding
- Build talent pipelines for skilled trades, early‑career talent, and hard‑to‑fill roles
- Own recruiting systems (Paycor ATS), data accuracy, and recruiting metrics
- Represent HCC at career fairs, schools, and community events
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve recruiting efficiency and quality
Hybrid Schedule:
This role works onsite 2–3 days per week to partner closely with leaders and teams. Additional in‑office time may be required during recruiting events, onboarding activities, or peak hiring periods.
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
- Experience recruiting skilled trades is a plus
- Strong organization, communication, and follow‑through
- Experience building talent pipelines
- Comfortable managing multiple open roles in a quick‑paced environment
- Working knowledge of hiring compliance and employment laws
- Experience with an ATS (Paycor preferred)
- Willingness to travel and visit job sites, schools, and recruiting events as needed
Why Harrison Contracting Company?
- Be part of a growing company intentionally building its HR function
- High‑visibility role with direct access to HR leadership and hiring managers
- Opportunity to shape how recruiting is done, not just fill requisitions
- Strong company values: Image, Responsibility, Diligence, and Uncompromising Integrity
- A chance to make a real impact on the future of the organization
Employment with Harrison Contracting Company is contingent upon the successful completion of required pre‑employment screenings, which include abackground check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check, as applicable to the role. All screenings are conducted in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
If you’re passionate about recruiting, process improvement, and building strong hiring practices, we’d love to hear from you.
