To provide customer service by coordinating the activities of associates to complete assigned handheld terminal activities. Ensuring a zoned and stocked sales floor and offering assistance to meet the customer’s shopping needs. This will be accomplished by maintaining and recovering merchandise all in a safe and clean setting. This Department Manager will function as a lead of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and customer traffic patterns.
What You'll Do
- Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
- Delegate, assist and follow‑up on the completion of Customer Availability Process tasks – Section Work, Capping bins, Stocking picks.
- Delegate, assist and follow‑up on the completion of price changes and feature sets.
- Delegate,
assist and follow‑up on modular completion in assigned area.
- Delegate and support with coverage in required areas on the sales floor as needed, support with recovery and zoning activities.
- Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard‑free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
- Ensuring associate breaks are taken in accordance with coverage.
- Training, developing and offering feedback to associates.
