Position Overview

Eastlink is a family‑owned, entrepreneurial and innovative telecommunications company headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It serves customers across seven provinces, offering Internet, Mobile, TV, Telephone, Security, Automation, Data Communications, and locally produced programming.

Location

On‑site – working all 5 days per week in the Office at 6080 Young Street, Halifax, NS.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Delivery, the Project Manager leads and manages projects of varying sizes and complexity from inception through to implementation. The role covers Customer‑Facing applications, Point of Sale, CRM/CSR, Provisioning, IVR, IT Systems, Network & Transport, Finance and HR applications. The Project Manager works with stakeholders throughout the organization, sets project deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress, and ensures timely, high‑quality completion using analytical skills and business acumen.

Qualifications

- Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Project Management.
- 5+ years’ experience in IT or Engineering Project Management; business analysis experience is an asset.
- Ample experience delivering projects in Agile (Scrum or Kanban).
- Prior experience using Jira for user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and defect management.
- Experience planning, managing and executing multiple complex projects and initiatives simultaneously to successful completion.
- Proven leadership skills,



with the ability to motivate and energize teams.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, thriving in a challenging environment.

Skills & Attributes

- Planning, scheduling, coordinating and managing all aspects of the project.
- Interaction with internal stakeholders, project team members and third‑party vendors.
- Maintain and present status reports and decisions.
- Maintain a product roadmap for the application(s).
- Work with other PMs, Business Analysts, Stakeholders, QA and Developers to deliver quality solutions in a timely manner.
- Assist in team development by removing roadblocks, mentoring, and utilizing organizational resources efficiently.
- Promote empowerment of the team by ensuring full engagement and meaningful contribution.
- Understand the product/service provided; use business analysis skills to dive into details to aid decision‑making.
